Along with Craig Buckley, Nick was one of the originators of the Milford Special Olympics Powerlifting team in the winter of 2013. Beginning with his time as an assistant coach with the outdoor Special Olympics Track and Field Team in eighth grade, Nick has been volunteering with the Milford Special Olympics Program ever since.

Craig co-founded the Milford Special Olympics Powerlifting program in the winter of 2013 in conjunction with Nick DiAntonio. Craig has been a long time volunteer with the Milford Special Olympics Program for nearly his entire life as a unified partner in cycling, assistant coach with outdoor track and field, and now as a coach with the Milford Special Olympics Powerlifting Team. Craig's enthusiasm for the sport and for supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities is infectious, and we are beyond lucky to have him as a member of our powerlifting coaching staff!

Alex Posch

Alex joined the staff of the Milford Special Olympics Powerlifting team in the winter of 2015, and immediately jumped in full steam as a primary coach and contributor to the program. Alex, a former collegiate baseball player at Gettysburg College, brings with him a great wealth of knowledge about powerlifting and personal fitness. Moreover, Alex founded the Milford Special Olympics Push & Pull Competition; an annual powerlifting competition for both mainstream athletes and individuals with intellectual disabilities where all proceeds directly benefit the Milford Special Olympics Program.

Andre Aureliano

Andre received his Powerlifting "Pro Card" in 2017, and is therefore a fully-fledged professional powerlifter!
Andre joined the staff of the Milford Special Olympics Powerlifting team in the spring of 2016 after competing at the 1st Annual Milford Special Olympics Push & Pull Competition. Andre is an avid weightlifter, and an individual who brings with him a wealth of knowledge about the many intricacies of the sport. As a competitive powerlifter himself, Andre works closely with our most advanced lifters by helping them to perfect their form and adopt the appropriate mental psyche required to maximize one's performance. In addition to coaching the Powerlifting Team, Andre is also a coach with Milford's Special Olympics Flag Football Team.

Josh joined the coaching staff in the winter of 2017, and immediately made an impact working with the athletes. Not only is Josh an avid lifter, but, more importantly, he is an experienced powerlifter himself; a reality that affords him the ability to work with all of our athletes. Josh is well versed in all of the primary lifts as well as a plethora of auxiliary lifts used to help supplemental muscle strength, flexibility, and recovery. In addition to working as a coach with the Powerlifting team, Josh is also one of the coaches with the Milford Special Olympics Flag Football team.
